I'm going to Denton Hill for the first time with my daughter and am seriously thinking about Lyman Run CG. Maybe we will have to get a TG dinner/campfire going one night.

Don't know which is the fastest way for you to go. drive past the lake to Billy Lewis road, turn right on Billy Lewis and then right on 6. Denton Hill will be at bottom of hill on your right. You can go into Galeton and then left on 6. Try them both and see what you think. I like the Billy Lewis way The road is dirt until you get on 6.

I stayed at LR last year and it was very nice, although I wish I would have taken my fly rod with me

I'm bringing my fly rod just in case the water is right. Maybe catch a dinner.

Cherokee, look up Pennsylvania dec website and you can register online to book a campsite. Look up lyman run and they will send you to the site to book a campsite. I booked yesterday and they didn't have a lot of sites left for that week, so get in soon. I am at #20 in the lower campground anyone close by or have any details on the lower sites. We are really looking forward to this trip.
