Bless your heart and theirs, Killie dear. An awful lot of folks have sure made me happy in my travels through the traditional archery world, as well - and still are. How I wish I could have got Rose into it as well (she did meet a few members - here but not near enough). We celebrated our 54th wedding anniversary Yesterday, May 20th. Mike (of Mike's Leathers) asked me if I got her a Medal - damned smart-alecky Marines, anyway LOL

Thanks for your reply, Killie - it means a great deal, as always.

The shoot was quite a hoot!

I was in tears every night over at the Bree, Sweka / Getz, Buehler camp. Can't wait till next year. It was a pleasure mingling with all the fine folks at this shoot.

Good grief, if anyone deserves a medal, it's Rose!
I still treasure the afghans she made and donated to St. Jude. And then there's putting up with you and your facebooking...

One fella said that he keeps up with you through there. Me, I'm never there. I seem to need to shut down before I get that far.

Had a blast with two4hooking aka Greg and Mike. Also Dan Breen...John Sweka...Tim Buehler ..and many others. Great courses and suoerb camaraderie. One guy had so much fun he literally flipped over backwards in his chair..!!!!!
For those of you who have not attended this shoot, its a must.!! 600 shooter badges which equates to nearly 1500 shooters over a 3 day stretch. Hot and cool weather...3 really fun courses. Hands down my favorite shoot annually.

I made it on Sunday. It was winding down but it was still great. Not too hot, and nice and overcast. Shot a few vendors bows, did two courses, practice range, and got my first funnel cake in probably 15 years.

Lost one arrow, and broke one. They were old used woodies, so no big deal.

I recognized Killdeer and said hi, kinda outta the blue I guess (that was me, Killdeer), she responded "What have I done now?".

Good shoot, hope to attend many more times, and take my son next time so he can kill some dinosaur decoys.

I hear ya, Killie - and i know what a great time B'more always was - glad it still is. Yep, Rose does deserve a medal, as do you. So many good friends at B'more, wish i could have been there.
