One of the "highs" was slipping up on this muley buck at 8 yds. undetected. I managed to get 4 pics with the flash going off(rainy,overcast day) before the bedded buck finally sensed something was amiss behind him. Of course, I didn't have a mule deer tag this year.

The best bull I saw was in this group of 12 elk that I bumped into before the season opener. Another small but legal bull was also in the group-the rest were cows/calves.
