Are there any fees to camp? I'm currently planning to stay with some friends, but if that falls through I may end up 'roughing it' Posts: 172 | From: Columbia, Tennessee | Registered: Sep 2008

I hope to come over and stay in camper with Kiva and Stanley, like last yr. Just not sure if I'll drive up with them or separate. Might have to decide closer to the date. A BIG thanks to all the good thoughts and prayers sent my way, keep them up!!!!!! They are needed. My morels aren't up yet, but if Nathan's are like last years were then yummmm!!! Course some of ya'll were sneaky with the crappie and didn't let that cat out of the bag!!!!! Then you had TOOO much left over!!!!! Mrs.Cheapshot (Tomi)

Morel crop is looking good in the mountains so far. I picked 32 "palmers" today. I will start freezing them for the feast.

Sounds like a great Friday feast coming together! Those fish along with some deer will make a great Dixie surf and turf. Last year we feasted on Saturday. I was hoping to do Friday this time so we wouldnt miss the big feed on Saturday night at the shed.
I count fifteen as well.
Pappy,
Will yall bring wood around again this year, or should we try to bring some?
Jeff, If you aren't getting there till Friday night and your bringing 8 we better mark off enough room for you too. Just let me know. If it rains you don't want to be camped in the holler.
"IF" it rains'??
