A new club is in the process of getting started in Southwest Georgia. Their initial meeting is this Saturday, which will be combined with some work on repairing some targets that they've accquired and a string making workshop. Lunch will also be available. This club is planning monthly shoots in 2012 and will have one in August of this year for those who don't mind heat indexes of greater than 105 degrees.
The shoots will be held at a farm north of Ellaville, GA in Schley County. More information will be posted on their events later.

While i'm new to traditional archery i've been bow hunting for 25 years (lost interest in compounds). I've been trying to locate a traditional club or group near the Newnan area that would give me a chance to learn more about the traditional side of the sport. Do you have any more information about these shoots i.e. start times, fees, contact information, number of participants etc?
