Kody my 15 year old grandson went on his first offical date yesterday, wow where does time go? So of all the things kids have to do and places they have to go where does Kody take his new girl friend?
Yepper you guessed it, he brings her out to grandma and grampa's house and teaches her how to shoot a recurve bow. It made gram & gramps smile from ear to ear as we listened to him tell Mikaylah step by step the same thing we taught him since he was 18 months about shooting the bow and arrow.
After an hour or so of targert practice he wanted to take her stump shooting. So he invited gram & gramps and the 4 of us strolled through the woods shooting stumps, sticks and clumps of grass. It was one of the best date we had been on in a long time. Man am I a proud grandpa

Jeff, Nice post and pic, being a father of two teenage girls, I'm usually on the other side of that date. I can tell you there are'nt alot of young men raised like your grandson, very nice young man. I've met a couple i would like to take "stump shooting" alone. Keep up the great work you have some very lucky grandkids. Todd
