Well the Barryton shoot was awesome, it is a 3 day event Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For $30 a family you get dinner Friday night, breakfast Saturday morning, pig roast saturday afternoon, dinner saturday night, door prize drawing saturday after dinner and breakfast sunday morning.
The course is 1.9 miles long with a couple novelty shoots thrown in for good measure. There was just a couple vendors there and the indoor archery range was open all night long.
Both Friday and Saturday nights we had a big ole community camp fire and the hospitality of the Barryton Conservation Clup is unequaled any where, Doug, Kevin, Gwen and the rest of the crew went light years out of there way to make you feel like family. I highly recommend going to this shoot next year, it is inked on our calender for sure.
I will post some pics but they will probably get pulled even though they meet the 640 pixel requirement but for some reason my pics get pulled or deleted..

I was BUMMED I missed it this year. Me and the fam spent a week in the UP rather. Not a bad trade off..............but I love my archery gatherings dearly. How was the crowd Jeff? Decent amount of poeple I hope, they are a great club and once you get to recognizing them you will see them at most all the other club shoots supporting them.

Hey Chris, Friday was a small crowd but Saturday they where hopping, I know we brought 10 new people ourseleves and will probably double that number next year. It is definately the best value of any trad shoot I have ever been anywhere.

Jeff, Thanks to you and to all who participated in the Stick Bow Shoot at Barryton this weekend. It is sure nice to see so many families shooting and spending time together. No one enjoys this more than I do. Thanks again.
