Well, if all goes as planned I will be heading to the ABS sponsored "Intro to Knifemaking" course, hosted by Haywood CC. The course is two weeks from June 1-12. Mastersmith instruction by Greg Neely & Burt Foster.

I registered today and counting me 4 students have signed up, the max is 8 students. So come on guys & gals let support this East coast ABS school!

I do not have any forging experience, so I will continue reading all I can in preparation. I'm stoked!

Steve,
Those two gentlemen took my forging and grinding to a new level. You will learn so much...it's one of those should have done earlier type of experiences for me [knothead] Now that I'll be in Aiken every winter, I'll certainly be at the Haywood Blade Symposium each year...Doc
