Anyone going to OJAM this year? Would love to know someone before showing up. Not that I know any strangers it's always nice to see a familiar face.

I'll be at the Tenn Classic but not OJAM or MoJam. I've wanted to go to MoJam since it began but haven't made it yet. Being from the south I can imaging what July feels like in MO and that plus 14 hour drive has kept me away.
OBG, I believe OJAM is the Oklahoma Bow Jamboree, similar to MoJam but in Oklahoma! If any bow builders(or not) has the chance to go to the Tenn Classic, I will gaurentee you won't regret it...unless you don't like rain! Last year we had 14" in 2 days(Same time as Nashville's flood) and it has rained at each of the 14 Classics so far. Plenty of bow building and cover to work, eat and play under and not a sour face in the crowd(over 300 last year) last year.

Goose, God willing and nothing happens between now and then I plan on making it there again this year. I have been lucky and made all of them so far.
A side note I think we meet in Ozark a few years ago. So if that true then you know someone. I ran a bread route in Ozark then.

There will be alot of teaching, coaching, and learning going on at Ojam. If you can go and want to learn to build wood bows thats a good place to start. There is normally several seminars giving on different things. There is always someone close by to lend a hand on bow making, flint knapping, arrow building and a ton of other things. Try to make it if you can.
Were you at the kids archery day at Holla Bend Refuge a few months ago? I think I read something a few days ago that said you hunted Holla Bend?
If you have any questions send me a PM or email I'll try to answer them if I can.

Tommy: I'll definitely send you a PM

Pappy might have something in the Trad Events. I think it is April 29,30 and May 1, 2011. Some folks get there during the week before. Tommy, if I had the time and money I'd go to all of these events. Thanks for the invite though.
