From what we can see there, yes it is. I have a 66" at 48# from 1959 that I love to shoot. I currently have the strike plate and rest off it though. I am sure you could tell me what the original plate and rest materials were?

The 59 KS is pictured in the 59 Bear Archery Catalog with a feather rest and no strike plate. I had a 64" 59 KS that had a groove worn into the sight window. A bullet shaped black or brown piece of leather really looks nice as a strike plate.

I am not the best at the art of taking pictures of bows, but here is one of my '59 KS.

I sent you a lh 70 inch 59 ks along with $ 200 in 2009. I thought it was 40 or 43 lb that I bought from cacciatore. The bow had 1 tip missing. I did not write down the serial number but I think Felix gave the bow's info on one of the previous threads regarding a 59 ks lh 70 at about that weight. If she's mine, thank you very much and just tell me what I owe. If not, I can't wait to see the majic you've done with mine. Either way, she's purty.

Cody - Where were you last week? I brought that arrow to Compton to give to you but could not find you anywhere. You many have to wait until next year to get that arrow.
What happened to you? Has the Rut started early in Michigan?
