went out tonight and sat, trying to catch a big'un at my feeder. The deer have been pounding it since we got close to 30 inches of snow last week. Had 4 buttons, 3 pt, 1 big doe and a pretty nice, but young 8 pt. The doe didn't like the testosterone party and promptly left with out giving me a shot...tomorrow is the last day here in WV...hope to have a blood trail story tomorrow night.

Sorry guys, got you all pumped up and never even made it out for the last day! We moved in early Dec and have already had an ice storm w/ no power for the first week, a water leak in our newly remodeled farm house, THE BLIZZARD, and............my Son ELI WAYNE STEVENS was born on Christmas Eve! That's enough excuses I hope, actually I've had a very busy fall, but it has been a great season. Feeders in WV? Yes, they are legal here.

actually trad has made me enjoy the "off season". Now I love being able to go out and stump shoot and dream about where I'll get a crack at the big 'un next year.

My plans were also foiled by the blizzard. I couldn't get out that Saturday with 30" of snow and on New Years eve my heat pump broke and I had to work on it all day. It was still a great season though since I got a doe on an urban hunt and two more during the regular season. Good to hear from you Brian. Bic Ulrich

You guys got hammered with 30 inches of snow. We got 13 inches of WET snow and everyone was out of power.
I have a backyard feeder for observing deer ( father in law is in wheel chair ) and the deer never missed a beat in the power outage
Happy new year to all.
