My son and I were out shooting the other day when he got an almost complete pass through on our 3D deer. Something went shooting out the other side when we went to pull our arrows we found out that the insert and the field point had come out of the 2018 he was shooting. I never thought that would happen.

Yep I gotta order a new replacement vitals area for my rhinehart. The heart area is now just a big hole to shoot through.

I haven't shot through the vitals on my rinehart yet but a few weeks ago I got enough penetration that my field point pierced the plastic tube that holds the vital in. When I pulled my arrow, the insert and point stayed in the tube. I couldn't move the tube up or down because of the insert. I finally dug a hole big enough to get my needle nose pliers in it and grab the insert. Maybe it's time for new vitals.
