Just wondering, I have been seeing a few videos of primitive archers who use them, since I'm in vegas can't really find a place to pick them so I might just order them online...
Here is my question, how difficult is it to straighten them out? do they require footing in order to put a point on? im worried about spine too....any help would be great guys! thank you!

This is a simple tutorial I did on the old MSN Groups. The same method is used for bamboo shafts as well. Once you get the hang of it it's not too hard to straighten them out,
I don't have a local area to cut rivercane so I buy bamboo plant stakes at Home Depot or Lowes. I never give spine a thought on a cane or boo shaft.
I hope this link works, it took me a while to find it. It should work as a slideshow. Just remember to mount your point or broadhead on the big end. They are naturally tapered.
