I am interested in finding a quality place to hunt whitetail in Kansas in exchange for a bowfishing trip for trophy alligator gar.I am not a guide ,just been bowfishing 40+ years.It is possible to shoot some really good fish.(Largest I have taken to date was just under 8 feet).I am not looking for a "guided hunt" per se as much as a place to hunt that has quality deer. Way to go Jay. Texas has some great hunting; but, rarely think about gar. And we have plenty giant gar! Good trade for someone wanting to get on some fast & furious gatorgars. Be sure to fry them some gar balls.
