I just got off the phone with Curt. First off the weather that was bad was north of him and he just got wind and rain. Second he is seeing lots of deer. He said he has passed a lot of respectable 2.5 year olds and had a real good one come to his deke, but it was too early to shoot. He said the deer are just starting to get with the doe's and said the next week should be great. He wishes everyone here well and will call me on Saturday with more news, earlier if he or his bud shoots a good one. He also said he is seeing some whoppers but not within bow range. That is about it and I will post here again as soon as I hear from him!! Shawn

Sorry guys, I have been a hurtin' unit since my fall. I had to go back to the doctor. He said I have whiplash and man I hurt worse now than a day or two after I fell. I will definitely contact him tonight and get back on here around 8pm. EST. I will call him until I get a response. Shawn

OK, here is the update. I just spoke to Curt and he is on his way home. He was stopping to get something to eat, so we talked about 15 minutes. He is doing very well and was in great spirits. He has a lot to tell and he will be doing it as soon as he gets home. I am sworn to secrecy(?) as he wants to give a day to day, blow by blow account. He will post as soon as he gets home and gets some rest. I myself cannot wait for the whole story. Also, no Turkey bowl for me this year, which by the way is a tackle football game between the old men(30 and older) and the kids(30 and under). It is hard hitting and I do not need that this year. Well that is all I can say for now!! Shawn
