Gobble Gobble!!! I have been in the shop making a few call for this year. This is my "Wooden Hen" scratch box. Box is made out of rare mineral striped poplar and inlayed with my ebony/maple herring bone wood. Sounding board is made from southern red cedar i select personally. Call comes with 4 strikers hand tuned by me. Also included are detailed instructions and chalk. Each call comes with a lanyard that holds the strikers and the call that fits nicely in your shirt front pocket. Scratch boxes have been around for 150 years but this ain't your granddads little squeek box. Mine can be played as loud as a boat paddle or soft as a slate. This style call produces excellant locater clucks that POP!. Also chimes out great hen and gobbler yelps, clucks and purrs depending on the striker you choose.
