Took a while. Been too busy getting back to work.
this is the 4x4 I killed in WY. Small by their standards but making a perfect shot was more important on this trip. I passed on a whopper the very first day...shoulda shot, duh!
There were about 6 camera men plus Bill Jordan and some industry folks there. Bill and the Real Tree guys were real profesional, they were fascinated by the longbow and gave lots of encouragement while still having some raised eyebrows. They called me Fred Bear a time or two (I hate that) or william Tell. You know how that is. But also they were real glad to see I got a buck and asked lots of questions. Next year I hope to get one big enough to make them get the camera out.
My buddy was next to be filmed while hunting that week, but he killed a buck too soon! My other buddy killed a 130" 4x5 the first morn and guided Bill all week, Bill passed up too many. The Real Tree crew only got one buck and he is not big enough to make a TV show. They are going back next week to try again.
I had a blast and could have killed 10-15 bucks and maybe 100 does. I never hunted conditions like that.More pics to come.

Note: Paul wears Mossy oak just to irritate Bill.
He killed the buck with a new Mathews Compund and made a hell of a shot at long range after passing him on the same shot previously

I guess he thought if he pulled it out he would be ok? He never got it pulled out. He only had 3-4 seconds max after the shot.

Did he just come trotting by too close or did you call him in? I really enjoy calling and hunting varmints. I don't think most people understand how hard it is to take a yote with a bow. They make a whitetail look like a retard. Great pictures!
