Hi all,

I failed to get this into the last issue of the newsletter so I'm going to post it here. If you know of people within your circle of influence who don't visit this site, perhaps you could make mention of it to them. Especially those helpful types who understand that 'many hands make light work'.

Thanks,
Dale

TBW Rendezvous 2012

This year we will return to the Baker ranch in Packwood!

Mark your calendar for the 1st weekend in August, the 3rd, 4th & 5th. Planning for this year’s event has just begun. We will need to have a couple of work parties to clean up the trails and flag the courses. Volunteers are needed for the work parties, to help set up on the days before the Rendezvous, to run novelty shoots, and to teardown and clean up afterwards.

The success of the Rendezvous depends on members who pitch in to lend a hand. If you would like to volunteer give me or Dale a call (or email one of us) and we'll get you set up.

If we can't get help to run each of the separate novelty shoots then they might not happen! Currently we are in need of people to run the Long Elk shoot, the Blanket shoot and the Night shoot. Even if you’ve never run a novelty shoot before, there is plenty of experience on hand to back you up. Don’t be afraid to try it!

I am looking forward to this year’s Rendezvous being as fun as it was last year!

-Rick

Was thinking about hauling the RV down to Packwood from Whidbey Island, but the gas prices got me thinking twice. Can you recommend any hotel/motels in the vicinity? Thanks.

It would be awesome if there was more on this event on the TBW website. Cole from Emerald City Archers has made this years rondezvous a club event. We are looking forward to this.

First time at the TBW, Packwood event. It was very fun, right in my wheelhouse. The cooks were great. What an awesome vibe.
