I use the cheapest masking tape I can find. sticks well, doesn't peel off easy by hand, but if you take a 1" wood chisel and start peeling the tape with it, or carving the tape with it, it comes off quite easy. scares the heck out of everyone when the watch me for the first time but I've been doing it for years. My help also. Have even had friends who have stopped by to help do it. No one has ever dammaged a bow.. not ever..nope, not even once. Just make sure the bottom of your chissel is always clean and lay it flat on the glass. Some time you have to push a little. I never even scratch it. I guess when I learn more, I will invest in some better tape. BigJim
I have been sand bagging on this thread & bought some green frog used it yesterday , after baking the tape came right off ,never going back to the blue !
