Today was a good day, no bows but I found a '40's era Bear shooting glove and a running Bear quiver. Both are in good shape for their age although someone had shot an arrow through the quiver.

My glove's strap is different from the one in the 1940 ad, but the rest is the same. Any idea how long Bear produced this glove?

Anyone know what model the quiver is? 18" deep and 4 1/2" wide.

Also ended up with a full dozen, brand new set of Bear(?), #10 Microflites, capped and crested with '64+ Razorheads and never shot or sharpened and several Bearglas arrows with '57 type Razorheads.

Thanks for looking,

Brad

Thanks, it was an unexpected find. The early stuff isn't as common over here compared to the midwest...

The glove was changed in the 1949 catalog-someone else will have to pin down that quiver.

Hobow;
Can you do a overall and close up picture of the Bear Glas arrow? Please.

Here you go Ron. I was thinking of the yellow arrows when I said that they had '57 type Razorheads, when in fact the most recent green set have the '60 type. The green set are the ones that I bought with the glove and quiver, the yellow set came with the oddball '57 Kodiak Special that I posted a while back that had the multiple laminations on the riser.

I remember your previous thread about BearGlas arrows, so I pulled apart one of the green arrows that had been re-fletched so that you can see the wooden inserts.
