Snakeskin limbs are intriguing to me. Anyone have any pics to share of their snakeskin limbs along with riser pics that go with them? I gather that Diamondback seems to be the most popular (for obvious reasons...they're sweet lookin!). What other species work well on bows? It seems that Morrison does a lot with snakeskins. Any pics of copperhead limbs out there? I'd love to see any pics of any skins...Thanks in advance! [thumbsup]

Wow. Already, some beautiful pics!

Prairie Drifter, Great lookin combos. I like the dark copperhead skin. Havent seen them much. That Bullsnake job really made your daughter's bow look great!

A.S., Love your combos as well! Seems like the copperhead skins really compliment what looks like maybe a cocobolo riser? Rattler skins look sharp, and love the wood burn pic of the buck on the riser!

ishoot4thrills, Really nice combo of copperhead and osage...is that right? Beautiful bow!

In all cases here, it seems like the skins have a nice natural camo effect as well. Thanks for sharing! Any others?

Gobblegrunter, that Morrison riser is Macassar ebony with Kingwood flare.

I had a local trophy shot ingrave the buck into the ACS riser...it looks pretty cool.

Unfortunately, both of these bows have fallen victom to my incessant bow trading!! [banghead] They have both found good homes though!

I'll show my ignorance... where is a good place to find some skins?

I would like to put some on my Kodiak Mag but just haven't looked into it.

*** I will leave my original posting for laughs... but what I meant was where is a good place to BUY skins. [knothead]

I am betting the best place to find them would be on a snake. [bigsmyl]

Pine Hollow Longbows is a great source for skins. They are a sponsor here.

Cottonmouths make a sweet lookin skin too. I HATE live snakes, but sure do like 'em on bow limbs! Geez, I still havent even received my very first longbow yet, and I'm already plannin' out my next bow (or my next set of limbs anyway)...

Great Northern Critter Getter Special, 58"er. GN does some of the very best snake skin jobs I've ever seen. These copperheads are flawless.
