I decided that I want to get my daughter Jenna a nicer bow for her 4th birthday in 3 weeks. Does anybody have any recommendations? Where can I get one of those little pink wooden recurves I see here from time to time?

Would a kid this age be able to shoot 15# or something closer to 10#?

15# For as far back as she'd pull a 15# bow she would be around 10# I'm guessing.

Not sure what Mike's recurves are weighed at inch wise but my LB pup is 26@25 and it's a stout 26 too.

I bought my four year old daughter a pink one from 3Rivers, she loves it. It is a long bow, I think it is called the squirt.

I don't know what colors they come in but Black Rihno has a large selection of youth bows starting at 9 lbs.

The Squirt from 3 Rivers is the one I couldn't think of. She says she wants a pink bow. Thanks all!

Look for the pilgrim squirt from Elk Ridge Archery. My daughter had one from age two.

42WLA, you should be proud. I hope my daughter keeps asking to shoot and one day hunt with me.
