Cyclic-Rivers,

That's just painful to hear that that magnificent animal was poached. Very sorry about that. Thanks for sharing those pics.

Can you imagine what he would have looked like next year? He was still fairly young.
So much for, "First do no harm."
He harmed my spirit by cheating the buck, and us.

MODS, if you need to delete these I understand since they are not trail cams pics, they are from the window.

What a shame for such a magnificent animal.

Here are a few to remember him by!................................................................................................................................................................................. ........................

What do you mean by poached? Just curious. Those words used with that picture upsets me.

Killed from his own yard outside of deer season.

I dont have much other specific info yet but know the State DNR is fully aware and will hopefully do the creature (and Sportsmen) some justice.

I pulled my cameras (public land) for spring gobbler season, but got these pictures before I did.

I will start hunting this gobbler come Thursday...4th season here in S. Il. I came close with him last yr and he is a very big gobbler. Hope he's still around.

Came across this deer kill (little buck) while turkey scouting and it was almost steaming fresh. Put a camera on it and it didn't work and by the time I got a second camera on it the kill was about gone. Got a bunch of pictures of buzzards and a big hawk, along with one doe and these two yotes.
