Great class and you'll learn a lot.

Take a light weight bow and arrows to match and an open mind. He'll do the rest.

Have fun!

I was fortunate to be able to get into the August class he's holding here in Texas. Good luck on your class Dusty and please let us know how it goes for you.

If you have a really light bow--like 35# or less--take it. If not, Rod will have one to use. I took notes. The main thing to take, IMO, is an open mind.

I took his class in March, I am 64 years old, an old dog. I was not sure if I could change my shooting style since I have been shooting for about 50+ years. I worked rather hard on doing the things he suggested. I worked on it every day for a month. It worked for me. I am shooting much better than I ever have. I have shot for several years at all of the Tannehill events here in Alabama. In about 30-35 rounds of shooting at the events I had shot a score over 200 (possible 250)only once or twice. Since I took the class there has been two events at Tannehill. I have shot about 8 or 9 rounds. I have not shot under 200 in these 8-9 rounds. My high score was 238! If you will work on what he teaches it will help you too. It might seem strange or different at first, but it does work.

Others have said it already but. An open mind is going to be your best "tool" to bring along

The real work begins after the clinic but if you follow through with the drills and blank bale work, your shooting will improve.
Have fun!

Thanks everyone for the comments. I don't think i will have a issue with the open mind aspect. I am pretty brand new to archery so i don't really have a regimen that i follow or a set way of of shooting, in fact its quite the opposite that is why i want to take the class to create a regimen and practice the same way everyday. Can't wait to learn. Surprised i haven't heard from anyone going to this class. I guess Rod doesn't come to the west coast to often glad i was able to get in.
