Folks, the Howard Hill Southeastern Classic will be held again at Tannehill Historical State Park, in McCalla, AL, May 31, June 1, 2 & 3, 2018. As you can see, this year will be a four day event.
NOW, let me add that this year WILL NOT be my last year for the HH Classic. I hope to go several more years.
I will, however, be selling all of my McKenzie targets at the end of this event. Great chance to get some used targets at GREAT prices.
With that said, next year's "HOWARD HILL CLASSIC", not only a slight difference in the title, BUT, there will also be some MAJOR CHANGES!!!
I will be using Rinehart Targets, the winners plaques will have a beautiful new design, there will be "American Traditional Archer" designed belt buckles to go along with the 1st place winners plaques, AND, some OUTSTANDING SURPRISES, coming as well.
See y'all at this year's Howard Hill Southeastern Classic.
Terry, its good to hear the shoot will continue! For the sale of the targets, I would suggest a simple silent auction. Just put a bid sheeat at each target stake, in the field, for people to bid as they shoot the course. Be sure to establish a cutoff time so you can simply pull in the target off the course and immediately know who the highest bidder is. Then, you could designate a specified amount of time for people to update their bids just before final sale.
Is the 11:00 shutdown time only in place for the target auction on Sunday? I hope so.
While on the topic of targets especially since it has been mentioned that Rineharts would replace current stock, does anyone know how much steel is used in their construction?
