Here's a photo of the dremmel bit that I use. The head is no larger than a copper BB.

Buy a chunk of hardwood doweling (oak, maple) and practice on the dowel.

Ifn you mess up on the dowel, you won't cry a lot, unlike if you mess up on a cherished bow! [knothead]
