Looking for someone in Indiana to help me and my son get in on some turkeys. Not sure what to trade for it. I was thinking maybe I could make you a bow.

Hey Bona If you haven't yet put you and your son in for the Big Oaks NWR hunt. You still have a couple days to apply. Lots of turkeys and mushrooms.

We are in East/Central Indiana, Grant Co. I work every other weekend but when I get the weekend off I also get the next three days afterward. I will have to check the guide to see what days correspond with my days off.

I will look into Big Oaks also. I've heard it was good there. It maybe too late by now.

I looked into the Big Oaks drawing and there weren't many options. They all interfer with my work schedule.

I have April 23-27th off and May 7-11th off.

I mentioned this on pow-wow and Steve Wills is offering some help also. I really appreciate all the help.

I'm in southern indiana. Hunt mostly public land. I have figured out some pretty good spots in the last 20 yrs. If there's anything I can do to help let me know. Rob

Ya'll (kidding) live too far SOUTH LOL

I'm way "up north".

Go Get Em!

Going after a gobbler myself this year with my "antique" , as my nephew calls it, trad equipment.

Might not have much eatin' but be I have a BLAST.

It seems most of the birds are either North or South of me. I need to move!

Good Luck B.Glass. Wish I could help but I am way too far away and this is my first year hunting the ol gobblers with trad only equipment. Can't wait to see how you incorporate the turkey into one of your new bows! I really enjoy seeing your builds. Again good luck to you and your son, Mike.

Try both Salamonie, or Mississinewa plenty of birds on both properties if you can get drawn. Make sure you put your boy in for the youth drawing. I have two boys of my own, most of my time is spent getting their bird.
