I just put the Sage review on line in my Trad reviews at http://www.peteward.com . I expect this bow will bring a lot more people into traditional shooting. I enjoyed working with a bow that anyone can afford for a change. Thanks Rob and lee .
Pete

I just bought one. The thought was to have a cheap take down bow I could back pack and hike with.
I finally got a chance to shoot it last weekend. The bow draws smooth and was as accurate as any other bow I've ever shot.
I did upgrade to a Flemish string.
All in all the bow is a great value for the money.

We ordered one in for a customer. I was simply stunned at how much bow it was for the money. [thumbsup] Definitely a good buy.

I have had mine for about a week and am very impressed with it. I got the 55# bow and it is shooting better than I expected. The fit and finish was alot better than what I read about on some other reviews. Can't see myself going back to a compound after realizing how much fun shooting trad bows are.

My Longbow recently started to delaminate. The manufacturer sent me a replacement, which lasted a week before its limbs started splintering. So I ordered one of these Sage bows to keep shooting while I wait for whatever the longbow manufacturer does about their warrantee. If I thought they'd listen I'd tell them to shove their longbow and go buy me another one of these Sage's. Its smooth to draw, with beaver balls, moleskin in the limb pockets and calve's skin in the string grooves - its quiet and with the 558gr arrows I settled on, its as accurate as I can hope for. With the above arrow weight the 50# limbs give me about 165fps at my 28" draw, which will do just fine for hunting.

There could be one out there but I have not read or heard a negative comment on these sage bows.

Bought one for my son last year. He loves the bow. Great product for the price.

Andy, Don't believe they offer longbow limbs for the Sage.

I bought a sage last year as I was just getting back into trad. It was a cost effective option.

I love the fact that I can put it under the back seat in my truck with a couple arrows.

It requires no tools for assembly. I'm happy.

I just got back into Trad after a 20 year absence.
I went to 3 Rivers a couple weeks ago and picked up the sage based upon Mr Ward's review. i wanted something to "get me in tune" so to speak. the folks at 3RA were a huge help, set me up with a flemish string and some arrows. I have been practicing everyday and can't find a fault with this bow.

I bought a Sage with 35# limbs from 3Rivers for my wife. The riser is a little rough but that sucker will shoot. Once I set the brace, padded the string groves, and put on silencers it is pretty quite too. It has no noticeable shock and will stack them in there. I have shot it more than my wife has. Good bow for the money and pretty too if you don't get too close. Of course 3R blasted it to me pronto and in good shape as always.
