I truly can't imagine that anyone getting one of your bows from you would get any bad Karma with it, Killie. Even if you were in a terrible slump of some kind, your gift would come with such genuine compassion and good wishes that it could carry only good Karma with it.
(and don't argue with yer elders )
BTW you have an unread PM from me (but then the news is old now)

OK, I will mark it "read" for you. I get a copy in my email and sometimes don't open them onsite. I would not have known about this if you had not sent the PM, bless you.
I am looking at other shoots, or I might just bank the time for hunting season. I was just starting to get a grip on getting to do all the stuff I wanted to do at that shoot, though! It is hard to fit so much into one little weekend. I sure will miss seeing everybody.

Kathy, I'm planning on going to ETAR this year for the first time. I already put in my leave request. Let me know of you consider going too.

Thanks, Killie, sometimes I do that too, so I knew there was a chance you had read it. Lack of ATAR will leave a large empty space in my heart this year for sure.

I told you that it was a "mess-up" not to come last year, Kenny!

Fear not folks! Im sure you all have a pile of sentiments for ATAR along with some fine memories but ETAR wouldnt be a bad alternative. Same good natured folks minus the accents. Come on up!!!

Bummer about ATAR as it has become my favorite shoot of the year. But knowing that 10% of any club members are doing most of the work it doesn't surprise me.Danny and Bobby and a few others worked their a**es off to bring the shoot together and probably burned out. Just want to say thanks for the good memories and hope that maybe next year it will come together again. God bless you WV fellows.

I second that! God bless the ATAR folks for having such an awesome shoot all of these years! I can't imagine how hard it has been to put everything together and the hours it must have taken. I sincerely pray that this is not the last of ATAR.

Well said, Tom. I have a boatload of good memories, and a ton of pics, and friends never met anywhere else, all due to the hard work of these fine people.
How easy it is to believe that everything we love will last forever. How fragile is the reality. It takes desire and dedication, and if it be the will of TBSWV, I will be there in the future. Killdeer

thank you all for being so understanding to our situation. I will really miss seeing ya'll but hopefully our paths will cross during the summer somewhere. maybe taking a year off will strike a fire in some fresh help so ATAR can continue in 2012.

It has now been arranged and, (since ATAR had to be cancelled for this year), the whole Dino Home Herd (see the Dino Thread in this forum, if in doubt about the program) will be herded to the NC Traditional Archery Championship Shoot, Memorial Weekend (uh- in May [Big Grin] ), in Hickory, NC for the youngsters. As far as the Dino prizes and gifts for the youngsters, it looks like it will be run pretty much similar (if not the same) at Hickory, as at ATAR in the past (and hopefully again in the future).
SO come to Hickory for the shoot in May, and bring the kids to round up their share of the fun Dino stuff that will be available for them. [goldtooth]
