Guys - what aluminum footing is the right size for the Ted Nugent Gold Tips (3555)? I think the color wrap must be thicker than the traditional wrap.
2117 is too small - 2216 is too loose.

2219 should fit just right.

The 3555 trads take a 2117 footing. You may need to take a drill bit (without the drill) and ream the 2117. I bet it will work fine, the footing seems to get crimped while cutting. Good Luck!!!

I've used the 2117's on the Trad GT's, but the decal wrapping seems to be thicker on the Nugent's. I could sand it down or ream out the 2117, but was hoping a different size would give a better fit.
I don't have any 2219's though, so I may try and mess with the 2117's. I have lots of those, lot's of 2215 and 2216 shaft pieces - it figures I'd need something other than what I have. LOL

I seem to have your same issue. Last GT Trads would not take my 2117 shaft pieces. I have a wide assortment of old shafts to use. My "old age syndrome " kicked in after I was done. Did not write down what worked? I do believe the graphics thickness varies from lot to lot based on what footings are needed.
