I want to thank those that have emailed and called me wanting to help. I have replied to everyone at this time...we will be doing something when the time is right. Again, not sure what or how, but we will figure it out and we will make a post about our plans.
Please remember Noah in your thoughts and prayers. I can't even imagine me at 15 having to deal with this.
Thanks again, the membership of TradGang never ceases to amaze me.

Great Terry.
In the mean time per the Time Warner Cable News....
LATHAM, N.Y. --A father who lost his son after a battle with cancer is giving back to Noah Roman this weekend.
Tim Stowell says his late son Ben was Noah's best friend. Ben died at the age of 9 from pediatric cancer. Stowell says Noah spoke at his son's funeral.
This weekend Stowell was in the process of holding a bowling fundraiser in his son's honor to raise money for pediatric cancer research, but decided to give all of the proceeds to Noah Roman instead.
"I just think that it's important that if Noah sees or hears this that he knows there's a huge community that's reached out to him through this event and messages that we love him and have his back," said Stowell.
The fundraiser will take place at Spare Time bowling in Latham Sunday starting at 2 p.m. It will run until 4:30 p.m.

Thanks for keeping us informed.

I'm in when the time comes.
This has preyed upon my thoughts since I heard here. Whether we know those involved or not (I did not have the pleasure), the human tragedy is unfathomable.
We are more fragile and vulnerable than we realize.
-
Let us know when it is time to move. We'll take care of our own as well as we can. What a nightmare for the boy.
-
Wow - Noah lost his best friend and now has to deal with this unexplainable tragedy.
My heart is broken for that young man. Terry, I have no doubt you will put something special in play for this, and we will be here to support the effort.
-
Will keep Noah in my prayers.
-
Prayers sent for Noah
-
Godbless you Noah during this terrible tragic time ..I wish I lived closer for a the young mam there's always a open door and I am sure he could use the comfort and healing
-
This young man is in our thoughts and prayers here. It's hard to imagine how he must be feeling.
-
Survivor Guilt haunts those from the battle field.
How does one navigate this mentally at his age?
He's going to need a lot of counseling I'd guess...
Prayers abound...
-
We are all family here.
-
This has been weighing so heavily on me the last two days perhaps because I have kids Izzy's age and grandchildren Izzy's children's age. He comes from good stock and will survive this with help from relatives, friends and community.
-
Most kids will never know the depth of tragedy that Noah is living through right now. Anything that we can do that will help him pick up the pieces of his life -- well, that is what we should do because it is the right thing to do, and if any of our children were ever in his situation we would all want the help of decent loving people for our child.
When the time comes I know we will all be there for him.
-
Just reading this,
first time in a long while a tear has come to my eyes.
Will do whatever I can.
-
I'm in, I owed his father a huge debt of gratitude, I suppose I owe Noah now!
-

To Izzy's friend that emailed me.....I had to walk away from the computer. It finally hit me when I read your words.
He was my friend to......I'm going to have to step away again.
-
I hope Noah can read some of the posts written on Trad Gang. Nothing can lessen his great sorrow at this time, but hopefully, there will be some comfort knowing how well his dad was liked here as well as how deeply people are concerned about him. There are no words that are adequate, but hopefully, just knowing that people care will be a part of the healing process. May God's peace come over him.
-
Absolutely a terrible tragedy. Sometimes i wonder how God could possibly have a plan for things like this. But i know through faith, that somehow, someway God will use this.
Prayers going up for that young man.
-
Terry - sent you an email.
Prayers for Noah.
-
I can't begin to fathom the emotional gamut this young man is going through and this tragic loss. I pray that at some point he's able to come to terms with it and finds some peace, as I pray for the souls of his family.
-
I will be at the Bowling benefit this weekend.
-
Terry,
I sent you a email.
-
Noah, so sorry sweetie. My heart is breaking for you. I will be thinking about you.
-
First of all, thanks to Terry and Rob, and the rest of the gang actually, for keeping this forum from turning into a typical social media gossip site. This is a good place to come, and especially at times like this when none of us knows what to think, say, or do.
Someone above said it best for me, It's simply "unfathomable". My heart breaks for all concerned, but especially for Noah. I've been praying, and will continue to pray, but I look forward to assisting in whatever way you guys determine is best.

Keep us in the loop Terry. I can't do much but I will do what I can.
-
I am in for doing my best to help also. Still praying.
-
I will keep an eye out for an update on how I can help, and my family and I will do all that we can to help when that time comes. In the meantime (and probably forever more), we will pray for this young man. May God Almighty keep Noah close to Him, under His mighty shield. And use Noah, as he did his namesake, to do wonderful things for His glory.
My heart is broken for this kid.....

We'll look for the new post. Thanks Terry.
I'm still reeling from this and cannot begin to imagine how the family is coping. Continued prayers for Noah. And also for Ray, Izzy's cousin who is another traditional archer who was with us up in the Moose River Plains last September. Hang in there buddy.
-
So saddened to hear this news. Our prayers go out to Noah. May our Father bless him and give him the courage and strength he needs to deal with this unimaginable tragedy. The prayer warriors of Trad Gang are praying.
-
Prayers for Noah for God to give him strength and comfort in these times, always and forever...Amen
God bless,

Been praying for Izzy's family and loved ones since I heard of this tragic news. Will be especially lifting Noah up in prayer. When the time comes I will do whatever I can.

This has weighed heavily on me since I read the close thread last night.
Just very hard to process it all.
Will be looking forward to what we can do.
-
What a tragic loss of life. May God give us all understanding and compassion.
-
I didn't know the family but in looking at his profile I see I'm the same age as Izzy was. With a young son of my own I cannot imagine him having to deal with something this tragic.
Tagging this thread to see how I might help out in some way.
