Title: Barry's Whitetail Bootcamp
Post by: Wolf1007 on March 28, 2016, 08:54:00 AM
Anyone going later this week? I am making my second trip out there, went last year too! If you are, its a fantastic time with a tremendous amount of knowledge, experience, and laughs thrown around.

I will be out there.

I heard it is not to be missed and my schedule allowed it this year.

Looking forward to it.

Beaunaro,

You will not be disappointed. The lodge, food, and experience are first rate! I hope the weather holds out because the majority of the time is spent in the field!

Look forward to meeting you!

Jim

Just to clarify, Jim Woulfe and Jim Boettcher are scheduled for this week (#2) and Irv Eichorst is scheduled for next week (#3). Taking a week off between #1 and #2 really helped me lick my wounds. The first session went very well with another great batch of attendees. I really enjoy mixing theories/opinions with a bunch of guys from all parts of the U.S. There were guys from 10 different states on #1; another ten states scheduled for #2; and eleven states represented coming on #3.
Jeff/ Tdog, a lot has changed since you guys came in 2008. New farms/terrain, new host facility where everyone is under one room, etc. The only thing that hasn't changed is the unpredictable weather. I obviously have no control over that but I must say I've been really lucky in my timing the last few years. We can deal with the rain/mud but it's a lot easier when it's nice out. I was out walking this morning and found a dead 7x5 from a year or so ago. See you guys soon. bw

Week 1 attendee and have to say the wheels have been turning since I pulled out of camp.  Really excited to tweak my sets and my overall approach to this upcoming season.

Be careful going to Bootcamp! I made the trip from MI in 2003 and it ended up costing me well over $200,000! Just had to own my own little slice of Iowa land....LOL

But seriously it was an awesome experience! I highly recommend!
