I have not shot the tundra, but love my stickflinger. A set of matching limbs that are 63#@29" should be shipping to me next week.
-
A nice Macassar riser and myrtle limbs that I sold because I prefer the longer riser.

Looks great Steve bocote is one of my top wood choices
-
Not a longbow but my friends Bocote/Myrtle TT recurve since you like Bacote. I think we have 3 different RH/LH matching TTs. Great bows and the Stickflinger is my absolute favorite model

I have both the Tundra and Stickflinger. I love shooting both, but opt for my Stickflinger now because the limbs are 5# heavier (less than two months till elk season). You cannot go wrong with either model, as they both are wonderful tools that are works of art.
-
I started out really wanting a tundra but the more I look at them I'm thinking stickflinger how do you compare the two to each other
-
Couldn't ask for a better guy to build a bow for you. Brian is great to deal with. Love my recurve from him.

Gaboon Ebony and Myrtle limbs. I can't find any pics in PB of the limbs. Sorry.

That is a beauty !!!

Steve O...is that Brian's standard grip on your bows...or which is it? Beautiful bows by the way...I love the woods in the Tundra.

Standard grip on every TT that I own, recurve or longbow...Never figured myself qualified to tell Brian there was something that could be improved upon with the grip of a TT. They locate like no other and are as comfortable as can be.
I found those other Tundra pics:

Not a longbow but the wood is Chechen with dark Myrtle, the one on the right.

The Tall Tines Myrtle limbs are on the left. Sorry for the quality of photo, but you can get the idea of the dark, rich color and a bit of the grain, I guess.

55#@28", it is a shooter.
-
I'm in love already
-
The riser is wenge with a bocote stripe. The limb veneers are olive ash.

Jim that sure is a looker for sure !!
-
I ordered a Stickflinger back in late March., still waiting to here a start date. I know I want a 64 inch but have not decided on wood options.
Steve O, I like that charcoal dymondwood.
-
What's the mass weight of a stickfinger on average? I'm loving my TT recurve but I keep thinking it might need a sister.
-
Ttt
-
I decided yesterday, my turn came up and I decided on a Chechen riser and myrtle limbs. 64 inch Stickflinger, checkered grip, 50@29?
-
That is going to be a sweet one. I'm a sucker for his Myrtle, but I do believe there is some Osage in my future...

Same here. I fell in love with myrtle. It can vary wildly in appearance.

BEAUTIFUL BOWS!!!!!!
:clapper:
-
Yes, love the Myrtle. I should have shown both limbs. Brian matched them perfectly in appearance.
-
Picked this one up on the classifieds over the weekend. 51@28 62"

I finally got to shoot a Stickflinger. Jeff brought his over last night and I could not stop shooting it. Of coarse, my heavy arrows were not turned to it and I was shooting to the right but I am glad I ordered one. The grip is smaller than I perceived.
Has everyone got the standard grip on theirs.

Ryan Derlago has a pretty one for sale now.
