Hello gang, I'm thinking of trying FMJ shafts for my whitetail set up when I get back from elk hunting. I was wanting to try some that the local archery shop has (I can buy 3 at a time) but they only have the camo! If I spine with these and then order the black hammered metal graphic version through my favorite vendor (the Nocking Point) will the spine be the same?
-
Yes the spine will be the same and GPI is the same on a FMJ,just a different look.
-
That's what I figured...anyone else agree?
-
There the same.
-
They are the same.
-
I thought that the camo weigh more.
-
Camo and woodgrain usally add alittle GPI on your standard carbons over the black versions. But a FMJ is alumninum over a carbon core, the outside finish whether the black diamond plate or camo is just the finish look on the aluminum outer core,it doesn't add any weight on a FMJ.

I've literally hunted Whitetails with a quiver full of mixed camo and black at the same time. You'll be fine, they're exactly the same.

x2 as above , I use both black & camo .love em

Oxidized patterns on aluminium are the same. Wraps or paints on carbon do change it a bit though. I can't shoot gt 400 blacks and gt 400 camo cut the same.
