After almost 8 years of training in my selected vocation I have finally started to receive some "real" pay checks. For the past 3 years I have been looking forward to ordering a custom bow with this money. Yesterday l placed an order for what will be my first custom bow, and the first new bow I've ever owned. Now for the hard part... waiting...

Kevin, congratulations on arriving at the point in your profession that you have reached.  I know much study, hard work, and long hours have gone into it and you deserve the reward of a new bow.    :thumbsup:   Looks like you made a good choice.

I would still be waiting for my first custom, except I found a builder that liked my work, and we worked out a trade.

You will love it. South makes an amazing bow. I have a rack full of bows that are jealous of my coyote!

I finally got my bow today and it was worth the wait! And the fact that South now lives in Colorado means I got to visit his shop, meet him and pick up my bow in person...

I only had time to put a few arrows through it in my garage, but it is fast and quiet as it is beautiful. Can’t wait to get to the range next week.
