I'd like to introduce myself to you. My name is Tom 'TP' Parsons and I've been a traditional bowshooter/hunter since 1959. Throughout this time I've shot just about every custom bow that was and is available.
I started reshaping and cutting weight out of mine and other bowshooter's bows about twenty five years ago. Then, in 1992 decided to build my own...well, one thing leads to another and I'm building bows that I think are among the finest available. As you know, there are alot, I mean alot of bows being built today. That can either make it easy or hard to find one that "really suites you!"
I believe you should shoot one of my bows, you'll agree that they are quick, quiet in the hand and shoot where you are looking! A bow must be all the above and at the same time have looks that appeals to the inner being...it must make you want to shoot and shoot!!! My bows will do that to you.....
Thanks ..... 'TP'
KimSha Archery believes in the philosophy and ethics promoted by the Pope & Young Club and the Professional Bowhunters Society. Give me a call or stop by and let's talk about bows ~ Maybe we'll shoot a few or sit around a campfire and share stories!

I tried your Traditions longbow at Denton Hill this past summer and I was immediately sold. It didn't take long for it to become my favorite bow. It is uncanny how well it shoots for me.
-
Welcome......Of my many bows my Mattawoman II is one of my go to bows in the fall. I think you will enjoy this site.

Hey Tom!
This is my most recent Kimsha Traditions. I have three. It's the finest ASL I've ever shot, and I've shot many of them. Fast, quiet and easy to shoot accurately. Tom is a guru level bowyer.

Ghost Dog,
I totally agree with your review, and I have owned a few ASL's as well.
-
I wanted one of his ASLs, but I just shot my Mattawoman II a bit better.
Ghost Dog, that last bow you posted is one of the best looking Ive seen. Just add a space before the http so the link will work directly.

I wondered why the link didn't work. Thanks!

I have a couple Mattawoman II as well. I shoot them just fine, but I shoot the Traditions and the original Mattawoman a little better. I have no idea why. Maybe I just expect to shoot them better.

Great bows. I had a Mattawoman II when I first got back into traditional about ten years ago. I wish I'd never sold it.Maybe I need to get another? :)

Is there a takedown option on kimsha longbows? What type of connector? Any pics? Thanks!
-
Bunyan,
Give Tom a call. I think he has a 3 piece in stock, and Ive seen him working on a takedown one time when I stopped by.

TP,
One of those arrows looks very familiar!!
I can testify as to the quality of TP's arrows. They are fabulous and I try to get two dozen every year whether I need them or not.
I was shooting recently with an old fisherman named
Flip Pallot. What was he shooting? One of TP's bows of course! And he outshot me of course.
