Title: Woodies Gallery
Post by: Captain*Kirk on March 01, 2017, 01:01:00 PM
There have been a number of threads here recently regarding woodies...let's see some photos of your favorite/unusual/super-fancy woodies that you've built or bought!
These are my favorites to date, Port Orford Cedars built by CAS Custom Arrows:

He also made a dozen of these for my son:

My used Bear Grizzly I purchased came with a half dozen of these cedars with unusual color scheme and banana fletching:

So far all of the arrows I've built have been plain Jane practice arrows, but looking to get into some striking or unusual designs, so looking forward to seeing some unique ideas!

A close-up of the really fine crest work Cliff did on my arrows:

Lots of nice arrows.I used to build my own wood arrows like many here and enjoyed it.Personel customizing is enjoyable.I had rudimentary tools. But could still build a descent looking and functional arrow with home boy Spartan methods.

Love those banana shaped fletchings most for looks. If I was to buy a chopper I would get a banana chopper.Shield is a classic as well.Hard to beat a real turkey fletching

I got bored with "normal" so I decided to do a bit of experimenting with some different footing techniques...
