My girlfriend has been after me to get my bows off the floor, and build a bow rack. We were having a get together so I actually had to get cracking on them. The one turned out nice, and the other one was just some little design, and some Minwax.
I took a close up so you could see that the one piece of pine actually had some grain to it.

I sent you a message Josh.

Love it and I see some familiar profiles on those hooks. What is the top bow in the second pic? Almost looks like a low wrist Kanati but with a little more swoop!
-
Jason the one you are talking about is a Thunderchild. I do have a Kanati, but it is on the first rack, and five down from the top.

I got this little bow rack from 3Rivers,and liked the way they looked on the distance,so that's where I got the measurements.

I clipped a head out of a 3Rivers catalog, and my girlfriend took it to her work and enlarged it. I cut it out with an exacto knife and traced it onto the board, and then took a router, and cut it out. I used the table saw to cut off the excess on both sides of the shaft.

That's funny Tony!
That bow is a 58" Timber Ghost I think it's right at 60 pounds. Its a nice shooter.

Awesome! I loved my Smoke 1 pc., but when I went to Rick Welch's school, my draw lengthened to 29". My Smoke was only a 56" and I just couldn't shoot it as well as a longer bow. So I sold it and got a used Dakota bow. I would LOVE to try one of those 3 pc. R/D's! Especially one that's a little longer like that. Thanks for the info!

Cool idea! That soarked a thought. kinda makes me wonder why guys buy a gun safe for several thousands of dollars worth of guns (I'm guilty) but no bow safe... hmmm...

You win. Far more bows than I. Great looking bow racks.
