Does anyone know where an actual bear factory replacement feather rest be purchased? My new 59 has a really nicley shaped feather rest. It has a taper that keeps the arrow laying against the strike plate while the bow is on a hanger. I see there is n aftermarket feather rest made. Do those have that taper also?
Thanks,
Tedd

Trap's are the best. Yes, it has taper. Got one for my 62 reproduction. 3Rivers has his rests.

I have Trap's on my reproduction Fifty Niner and Drake. It made all the difference in the world as to arrow flight. What a difference! They last a long time too.

I got a replacement feather rest from Big Jim. Not sure who makes them but it looks exactly like the one that came on my reintro 59er. Gosh those things are forgiving.

it seems like trap is the only feller who makes these rests? He must be a busy man.

The one on my Kodiak Special is original and the two that are on my Howatts are made by Trap.
I have three more Howatts with Traps feather rests on and all look exactly like the Bear with taper towards side plate.

Thanks for the responses. Sounds like the Trap rest will do! Nothing wrong with the one on the bow now but by habit I keep laying my big pointer finger on the arrow when walking around and that might smash it. I'm almost cured of the habit now.
