Title: Brace height on a Palmer T/D
Post by: Stalker58 on February 17, 2007, 09:31:00 AM
I just picked up a used Palmer T/D single carbon.
It's in great shape,I got a sweet deal.
Does anyone know what the brace height should be?
Just to put me in the ballpark.
Thanks

I shoot mine at 7 7/8",but it shoots fine on down to 7 5/8" and still stays quiet.

My 60" shoots best at 7 3/4". The range from my manual is 7 1/4" to 7 3/4" for the 60" bow. Thats just the recomended range, your bow may shoot better longer or shorter. Have fun!

yup my 60" palmer classic likes to be at 7 3/4--> the limb tips on all palmers dance around a little after the shot but the bow feels fine to the person shooting it.

What length of Palmer are you shooting?  I have a 64 in that I set up at between 8 and 8 1/4.  I have a long draw so a little higher brace height helps arrow flight.

I had to experiment a lot initially but have been shooting it at this setting with good success.

Suggest you do the same for best results.
