Hi All,
This is my latest creation that I finished today. It's a R/D bow called "Morning Mist".
I used Coromandel and Zebrano as veneers under clear glass with tapered Bamboo and Maple as core. The Coromandel and Zebrano veneers are split-up in a "swirl" form.
The flaired riser is made from Walnut and Zebrano with a mosaïc strip between both woods. The mosaïc strip is made of small pieces of Cocobolo, Maple, Wenge and Ziricote.
A Ziricote overlay on black glass finishes the riser off. The tips are made of white glass with Zircote.
The bow has a length of 62" with a pull of 50# @28". This bow comes with a 14 strands brown/grey Flemish twisted string.
So let's hear you opinion on this one. :archer:

Looks great! If it shoots anywhere near as good as it looks, it is a winner! Nice Job-Mike

Wish I had the know how to create something like that!!! Nothing would be more satisfying than making a bow and harvesting an animal with it!! :notworthy:
