Title: looking advice on building a coyote hide quiver

i have a tanned tubed coyote hide that i am looking at making into a back quiver any suggestions??

I made my quiver from wild dog skin.
I shot the dog/dogs in Australia where their a real problem in some areas.
The only thing I'd sugest (is be carefull who you tell it's Coyote)
It can be a real conversation stopper in some company,,LOL.

I dunno who it would offend, coyotes are open to kill and regarded as a pest in these parts. Now if it were a wolf skin.......

I had an old Neet back quiver, that I wraped a yote hide around. Lots of barge cement and heavy duty thread, curved needle and a wife that can sew. Left the tail hanging off the bottom. And no I didn`t shoot the coyote with my bow. Man can they duck a string. 22-250 works much better.

I have killed one coyote with my longbow.  He was dumb and I was lucky that day, but you're right a 22-250 works wonders!  I would be interested in this also, because I would assume that the process would be similar if you tried to make one out of deer skin, correct?
