Title: Indoor shooting score
Post by: Bushman on March 11, 2007, 01:09:00 PM
Hi,
I was just curious how well the archers over here shoots compared to what others do. I mean, here in Norway we are typically 10-15 archers with traditional equipment in a competition. We use modern longbows/recurves, and shoot 60 arrows at the 60 cm FITA target at 18 metres. Only wood arrows allowed.
A winning score is from around 450-490 points out of 600. Certainly not a high score compared to the compound and olympic recurve shooters who even use smaller targets, but... Is it anything worth or are we really far off. Just curious :-)
