I actully got the bow from our neighbors dad his son brought it over its a Ben Pearson doesnt have the specs writtin on the bow but im guessing its 50lbs shoots great its fiberglass. My first shots with it at 20 yards were all in the bullseye only thing I dont like is that the feather goes across your finger and it feels like your being cut but I fixed that by adjusting the feathers.
The name is faded but to me it looks like it says "Ben Pearson Streto Jet Hunting Bow" Could someone correct me on the name im sure thats probley not right. He says its 35 years old any idea of the value of the bow?

Howdy,
I don't know about that bow but I have a old Ben Pearson Cougar that has served me really good. I love that little bow. Its a 42# at 28". I think they are good bows.
Have a great day, HH

The Pearson Strato Jets were entry level bows made entirely of fiberglass. I don't think you can really hurt one short of throwing it in a fire. They make great bowfishing rigs or general knock-about bows. $40 would be a top-end price with most selling for less than that.
