Title: Correct arrow spine
Post by: allanburden on April 11, 2007, 01:10:00 AM
I have a Northern Mist Baraga 62" long 53#@28in.  I draw to 29 however.  I eventually want to move to wooden arrows and know what spine I need for those.  My question is for aluminum and carbon arrows.  I want to start out with those due to financial constraints.  If anyone shoots a similar bow and can offer any advice it would be greatly appreciated.  Also, which do you prefer?  Thank you.

Allan,
I shot a Northern Mist Superior 66" long 58# @ 28 and I also draw 29 or a tad more.  Although it shot 2018's ok it really liked carbons the best of all.  I shot the Terminators 55/75 and they shot great. If you do go to wood arrows you will want to shoot arrows spined about 10-15 pounds heavier than your bow weight!
