Been shooting traditional for a little while now. Never shot compounds. My brother just got into shooting trad with me and has been shooting for a few months. Last night we both were shooting my 3-D boar target and he robinhooded 2 different times in about 30 shots!!!!
I read that on average this happens 1 in 100,000 shots. He was extremely happy and was really giving me a hard time.
4 of my good arrows gone just so he could put them on his trophy wall! Oh well.....I'd do the same.

Congrats to him for the good shooting.
I think next time I would use his arrows.

Next time we will be!!!!.....and we will be removing mine before he shoots!

Sweet, but expensive.

Does that mean he won't do it again for 200,000 more shots? Sounds like your arrows are safe.

Putting two arrows into the same spot happens quite a bit. A true Robin Hood where the first arrow hits exactly in the center of your spot and the second hits the first doesn't happen very often.

I'm with Pete. To be considered a robin hood, both arrows should be in the center of the target; otherwise, I just call it bad luck.

He did the same exact thing twice in thirty shots, good.
