Hello Bayou, I am in the process of makin' one right now.  A friend got new tile in his house and I snatched the old carpet.  I am cutting it into 11" x 48" strips.  I will then stack it to about 36" high.  Will use a 2 x 12 on top and bottom attached to each other with 3/8" all thread an each side.  It will be just like a Block target but with carpet instead of foam.  I have also heard that you can make one this way with cardboard.  I should have it finished in a few days then I will post some pics or send you a PM.  Have a good day and keep 'em in the middle, TMG.

I made a few targets out of a burlap feed bag then had corn in it for the chickens. I then stuffed it with cotton material that was inside of one of the Morel shooting bags it works but as much as I shoot it only last a week or so im looking for better material.

I've filled up empty milk jugs with plastic grocery bags, packing them in tight.  It gives some variety from shooting at block type and 3D targets.

The skinny milk jugs look like a squirrel.  The gallon size look like a real portly squirrel.
