Title: The Bow Tool ????

I've read about a bow made out of pvc called a bow tool. It's used to practice with to cure target panic. I heard it was in the Aug/Sept 2002 Bowhunter magazine but I can't pull it up on the web site. Can anyone help? Thanks   Tonka

If I remember correctly, the thing is made of flexible PVC pipe and a string.  It isn't even supposed to launch an arrow, just give you a form check.

I`ve made a lot of bows thru the years for little bitty kids out of 1/2" PVC by cutting a notch in the ends,tying a knot in the ends of a piece of string and sliding the string in the slots. I usually used a piece 3 to 4' long. I think if I were you I would start with a piece about 6' long. You can always cut it shorter,but its hard to add back on.
