Title: "MUDDY PLUCKER"!
Post by: Stagmitis on August 11, 2007, 12:22:00 PM
Thats what my buddy says every time he plucks the string......

What are you thoughts on plucking?

Is there a single root cause or a mixed bag?

'Telling yourself' to let go....improper alignment...lack of back tension.

Hurrying the shot.... After growing up watching all those "Robin Hood" TV shows and movies (along with those "John Wayne" westerns like "The Lone Ranger" and "Maverick"), seeing how fast the Hero is able to shoot, I thought that it always had to be done that fast, no matter how much skill a person actually had. If you didn't shoot fast, you just weren't any good...

Take the time to set yourself up properly. With time -- and practice -- you will get faster, and **still** be accurate.
