Dave, I shoot similiar to you but I shoot split finger. One thing that stood out was that it looked to me like you are collapsing a little just before you release. You may want to try expanding the draw while at anchor to get good back tension. It works for me Try to get a hold of Masters of the Barebow and watch Rod Jenkins shoot. I learned a bunch by just watching his form even though I don't shoot his style. That guy can flat out shoot! You also look like your release is coming out away from your face instead of straight back. I'm no professional just a couple of things I noticed. I'm sure someone more qualified will chime in. Good luck. Cade

On the second shot you moved your head about an inch further forward than on the first. You don't want to be moving into the target. Like Cade said you were collapsing some, more in the second shot than the first. A few other views would be helpful for the release and alignment. I'm sure Terry, Curt or Rod will be along with some helpful pointers.

Thanks guys,
could you explain what you mean by collapsing

Dave,
Collapsing usually happens when back tension stops or decreases. It's more apparent in your second shot where you reach anchor and than creep forward with your drawing hand ever so slightly.
I would experiment with a different anchor points to increase your draw length and put you in better alignment. The longer draw length will probobaly help with your back tension, release and follow through.

Dave, you have a great follow through...one thing I see that you could improve on is not moving your head forward to meet up with your anchor...keep your head centered and don't move it out in front of your body.
Bring the string to you, and don't go forward to it.
You will gain draw length and even more back tension....and you will maximize your body and equipments potential, and be more properly aligned....just keep that follow through!!!

What Terry said, but what I see in your follow thru is that it's long and flowing, but most of it is just a conscious movement on your part and not a reaction to your shot.....when you release the string, your hand doesn't fly back as a reaction to you using you back tension and a positive push/pull. It just kinda falls, then you move it back after it's made it's natural reaction,or lack there of, to the shot.By clicking start/pause you'll see what I mean.
By doing what Terry said about bringing the string to your face and not the other way around will help.
But you're getting static at anchor to the point of a slight collapse as you release. If you need to hold that long(probably don't), you need to keep pulling back ever so slightly as you do so.....
